Hi boys,
I'm not sure, but when I installed XP, Vista or Seven never I didn't need
cd of prewious version, and I didn't need an internet access. But it's
true, that I had installed Genu on my machine :D
With best regards,
   Marek Durila

Windows Vista and 7 will require a genuine copy of the previous OS
physically installed on the machine for the upgrade disk to work
successfully. This no doubt happens during the first part of the
installation.
