In windows explorer, hit alt + T for tools menu, arrow up to folder options, and in that dialogue, shift tab until you find the restore defaults button, and hit space on it.

You will then most likely want to go redo some changes like going to the view tab, tab to advanced listing, and at least make sure it is checked on to show file extensions for known file types.

I also first generally switch to list view off the view menu, and then on the view tab of the folder options dialogue after making sure the extension option is turned on, I hit space on apply to all folders button etc.

Stay well

Subject: [Blind-Computing] help needed, please

I am using jaws 10; I have messed up something in that I can't open but one window at a time; for example, when in my documents if I open my music, my documents closes. Also, jaws is not telling me all the information I need to know about a file; I want to know if a file is a zip file but jaws says nothing at all about the file. Any help will be appreciated.
