Hey, thanks a lot for the additional info. Yes indeed, Revo is just super. It does what Add/Remove Programs doesn't do and does a much better job of it. Oh yeah, I remember using Add/Remove Programs to remove Avast from my system, but after I restarted the computer Avast was still in the system tray, which is what happened this time. Stanley
