Try disconnecting the drive, wait for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in
again, it's worked for me in the past.

Hello, I have a problem with my external hard drive, I have no problem
opening it and viewing the files. When I go to open a file it tells me

cannot be found.
I did get a message the other day, that something like: one of the USB
devices is damaged or something like that, I missed that message and
never
seen it again.
I have tried to open zip files on that drive and it tells me the zip file
is
damaged
So if any one can help I would appreciate it very much!
