Hi Mark, You do not have to purchase a Digital player.

If you are signed up with a lending library through NLS. "the national library service for the blind and physically handicapped". You will get a player for free from your lending library that sends you talking books. All you need to do is;
Contact your library in your area.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Buying a NLS Player

Hi
I was wondering if it is possible to buy a NLS player? So far I have not been very happy with the victor reader software from book share and so I am hesitant to buy a victor reader stream. I would love to be able to down load books from the computer and internet and read them away from home.
    Any advice is appreciated.

God bless,
Mark
