Because ssd is still in its infancy and you stated you purchased one of the older versions, you should really read up on its limitations or you risk damaging the SSD or at the very least shortening its life. No, you should not defrag such a drive. In fact, if you're using Windows 7 you should go into the disk defrag and confirm it is disabled.
