Well, because I really trust his judgment, I actually used the link posted
by Don.

Hi Andre,
Did you use a different URL than the one given by Chris?
I went there using Jaws 6.2, and found a download links, but the one I chose
didn't seem to go anywhere.
Using Jaws 11 and 12, I couldn't even find the links I found with 6.2.
Thanks,
Rick Justice

Gerald. Not true at all. If you hit enter on the exe file it will actually
install right over the current version. You will then have to update it
and
it is your typical updating procedure.
Chris' comment about his computer crashing did not happen to me.
In all honesty, there doesn't appear to be much difference in the
interface
so if you were comfortable with version 1.0 then you will be comfortable
with version 2.0. In fact, you can go into the help menu/about and confirm
that 2.0 has installed successfully.

I imagine the update will appear in the System Tray when MS is ready to
release it. The problem with downloading MSE 2.0 from the MS download
page
is that if you are already running MSE you would have to uninstall or
disable it in order for the download to proceed, leaving you unprotected.

Gerald, would you let us know when the update appears? Marilyn

:
: I have not yet seen any updates for MSE on the Microsoft Updates page,
so
: even though MSE 2.0 is out of beta, it may still not yet be ready for
