In XP go to Control Panel and Accessibility Options and look at the
Toggle Keys option and make sure it is turned off. You might want to
disable the hot key to toggle it on and off too as that probably is
how it was set on.

for some reason when i start or restart the computer i get a beep sound.
when i press the start key and other keys such as control shift and
alt keys i get the beep for each key press
it may be sticky keys are set to come in to place
how can i disable this?
and how do i remove it from the system tray?
