Hi Yvonne; Sometimes you need the, £, sign. Your suggestion is an option but, it can also be mistaken as the, #, sign. The pounds sign looks like a fancy backwards 3. Where as, as you know, the number sign, which looks like a tiny TicTacToe, can be used for both the number & pound signs in most occasions depending on how it is inserted. Take care. Mike

The easiest one is to press the insert key and the 4 on the keyboard and use the down arrow key until you hear the pound sign and press the enter key.
