Yes, you are right. It use to be there, but not it's not. I press spacebar on 
the choice, but do not hear it say if it's checked or not. Maybe I'll try going 
throughthe applications key see if that works.

Trish,

I believe there is a check box in that dialogue that allows
the action you chose with that device to always be the one
if you check it and not show you the message. Next time you
plug it in check and see. Can't say for absolute certain but
think so

I have this device and when I first plug it into my USB
slot, a long list of stuff pops up wanting to know what I
want to do.
I always arrow down to the "take no action" tab to ok and
it's gone. 
I would like to know if there's some way that this doesn't
keep popping up asking me every time?
