Thanks Trish, but this isn't exactly the problem she is having. But thanks again for the suggestions. -----Original Message----- From: Trish Sent: Thursday, June 21, 2012 6:11 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Messages Disappearing In Outlook 2007 I don't use Outlook 2007, but I did try something the other day with WM and the junk folder menu, I went to the add safe senders page, then it gave some message about making sure all your contacts are in the safe senders list or something like that, so I just tab to the add.. and entered on that. Not one of the people/groups in my contacts have ever landed in the junk folder. I also was having an issue where my emails were being grouped as in a collapsed thread, which I had no idea what was going on or how that started.. Sometimes if someone replied to some email with same subject line, I had to right arrow on that unread email to open it. If I just entered on it nothing happened. But even checking the box and unchecking the box through tools/options on that read page concerning collapsed messages it still grouped them all together. But under the view menu and I think the sort by.. was something checked said group messages, so I unchecked that and now all the emails are coming in single file like they are suppose to, or the way I like it. If I do a control Y, I have something called imported folders, this was when OE had control of my folders on the other computer, wonder if this is like this situation with your client? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Denny Huff" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, June 21, 2012 5:12 AM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Messages Disappearing In Outlook 2007 Thanks David, but I did look for 2 in boxes and only found one. I also looked in the search folder for the unread messages folder and it was empty with the exception of her RSS feed mail from MSN News. Apparently those are being filtered to it's own folder automatically. -----Original Message----- From: David Sent: Thursday, June 21, 2012 5:07 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Messages Disappearing In Outlook 2007 Hello; Sounds like the messages are being filtered into the old pst/account. Most likely there are 2 inboxes. The new one being at the top, And the old one, down at the bottom. So, if you did a ctrl+y=go to folder, Here you can either letter navigate, Or you can arrow. Either way, you're looking for the original folders. Most likely you will hear, Xxx account closed. Right arrow to open. Now you should see the folders. Let's start there. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Denny Huff Sent: Thursday, June 21, 2012 5:38 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Blind-Computing] Messages Disapearing In Outlook 2007 All, I have a client that is using Jaws 13, Vista and Outlook 2007. I hear the email sound that a new message has arrived, but it doesn’t show up in her in box or any other folder. I have checked her views and they are OK. She doesn’t have any rules set up. If she receives junk mail, they do show up in her junk email folder. I can move messages from another folder to her in box and they show up there. I have renamed her outlook.pst file and allowed Outlook to create a new one, but still the same problem. She can send out messages without any problem. Any suggestions on what I can try next? Thanks!
