I have the same issue with mine. I've tried everything I can think of,
and it just won't load.

After going through my archives today, I found an Email I archived
ages ago about Entombed been free.
So I thought hey! Must check this out.
Well downloaded it and installed that service pack before hand.
Ran the Entombed setup file, which installed 1.025B I think it was.
Well this worked absolutely fine.
But reading the manual, found out there was an update.
Downloaded it and installed it.
This took the version to 1.025K or something like that.
Well since doing this, when I try and launch the game both from the
desktop or start menu Entombed sub menu, absolutely nothing what so
ever happens!
It's just staying on my desktop or not doing anything when using the
start menu method!
Has anyone else experienced this?
What do I need to do so it will launch?
Windows 10, Home, version 1909
