HI, For me it all happened about 2 months ago. I have both 1.02k and 1.05B on my system. Both were working just fine till one day 1.05 would not work, but 1.02 did. So I thought that some how the recent updates messed with the sql compact you have to install to run 1.05 on a win 10 system. Once I ran the update files like I did when first installing 1.05 it hosed both versions. Neither would launch. Hit the enter button on the icon and get nothing.
Now This conversation was talked about here end of April or so and also on the entombed mailing list. At that time no one had any suggestions. Now I have one to try. I looked in add/remove programs and all that is there is the spl compact 3.5 . I am assuming that is the files that need to be removed and reinstalled. I see nothing else that has sql in the name nor anything with frrddist. But wanted to check to see if I am seeing this right before removing anything. So can you confirm that these 2 files I see here, one x86 and the other 64 are the correct ones to remove? Once removed can it be as simple as use the sql compact installers I used initially? or reinstall both games over top of what we got now? Thanks in advance.
