I read somewhere that you can't have both running on your system. I'm
not sure what the advantage is to running the one that ends in K, since
I think the B one is more recent? Could be wrong though.
Anyway, with the B one, I uninstalled anything SQL related, then
reinstalled the game. In the process, it unzipped two SQL files. What I
read said these were the wrong ones, but I tried anyway and it worked.
Make sure you install the one that has 64 in the name last, and only if
you have a 64 bit machine. Do that before running entombed, and at least
for me it finally worked.

HI,
For me it all happened about 2 months ago. I have both 1.02k and 1.05B on my
system. Both were working just fine till one day 1.05 would not work, but 1.02
did. So I thought that some how the recent updates messed with the sql compact
you have to install to run 1.05 on a win 10 system. Once I ran the update
files like I did when first installing 1.05 it hosed both versions. Neither
would launch. Hit the enter button on the icon and get nothing.
Now This conversation was talked about here end of April or so and also on the
entombed mailing list. At that time no one had any suggestions. Now I have one
to try. I looked in add/remove programs and all that is there is the spl
compact 3.5 . I am assuming that is the files that need to be removed and
reinstalled. I see nothing else that has sql in the name nor anything with
frrddist. But wanted to check to see if I am seeing this right before removing
anything.
So can you confirm that these 2 files I see here, one x86 and the other 64 are
the correct ones to remove?
Once removed can it be as simple as use the sql compact installers I used
initially? or reinstall both games over top of what we got now?
Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone!
This is Gary Price.
After going through my archives today, I found an Email I archived
ages ago about Entombed been free.
So I thought hey! Must check this out.
Well downloaded it and installed that service pack before hand.
Ran the Entombed setup file, which installed 1.025B I think it was.
Well this worked absolutely fine.
But reading the manual, found out there was an update.
Downloaded it and installed it.
This took the version to 1.025K or something like that.
Well since doing this, when I try and launch the game both from the
desktop or start menu Entombed sub menu, absolutely nothing what so
ever happens!
It's just staying on my desktop or not doing anything when using the
start menu method!
Has anyone else experienced this?
What do I need to do so it will launch?
Windows 10, Home, version 1909
Cheers! Look forward to any responses!
