I'm not sure what you mean about needing to max out your stats before you level, maybe that was either another game, or something that got changed back again.

You always get the same amount of practices and trains when levelling your primary class, and you can get more through things like doing quests.


Intelligence does effect how much you improve a spell or skill through practices, but since practices aren't as hard to come by (especially at early levels), thisĀ  isn't something to worry about too much, especially if you can find another player to teach you, and even more especially since the effect of intelligence on practices stops when you hit 100 intelligence anyway, which isn't so hard to do.

Actually one thing I really like about Erion, is that progress can be as fast or slow as you want, since amount of xp to level vs xp from activities is fairer than in many games).
