You have to do a certain amount of combat to get into crafting in
alteraeon. That informed my choice of classes. Eventually you have to
get all classes since alteraeon is a multi-class gaming system. Given the
early combat requirements I chose warrior and necromancer as first choices
in order to get dangerous. Next I chose druid to start getting useful to
others. Cleric as a fourth class could be useful to others and I may do
that choice if I'm well enough converted since that would allow for more
future opportunities. If not, I think mage could be another useful class
on the combat side if not the crafting side. This fourth class anyone
chooses is important since to start a fifth class involves seven digits
worth of experience to pay for it. Once a fifth class is chosen my guess
is 8 or 9 digits worth of experience is needed for that sixth class. Mess
up on the choice of a fourth class and you may as well reset the character
and start over.
