Hi Zack,

First off, my apologies for my late response. :)

I’m glad you got through the opening game scenes.

Were you able to activate all of the assists in the difficulty menu?

If not, then you should definitely go there and look at the assists that are
available. The most important one is steering.

Congratulations. If you’re hearing Anna then you’ve successfully set a route so
cool beans! :)

If you have steering assist set to auto steer, then you can accelerate with the
right trigger and the game’s AI should steer for you. This does not mean that
you will never find yourself in a situation that you will need to steer out of,
it just means that during most of your driving, the game will manage it for you
and will get you where you need to go almost all of the time. -And, pretty much
you can absolutely rely on this in races and most of the time in stories. I’ve
never needed to manually get myself out of a jam in a race but have needed to
do this in stories.

I focus mainly on drifting at crazy speeds and stunt driving, as well as doing
races but may attempt more stories as time goes on. :) We’ll see. One cool
thing with Anna, is that for Danger Signs, which are locations in the game
where you can do jumps and such, Anna seems to guide you right to the ramp
itself and all the way up it as you make the actual jump. So it is just crazy
fun! lol! :)

Anyway, while the game AI that drives you, is really really good (amazing
actually) it’s not perfect and some of that is by design. So occasionally,
you’ll need to listen to your environment etc and may need to make some of your
own adjustments if you find yourself stuck.

This can happen if you get into a bad accident by traveling too fast etc.

Sometimes all you need to do is to simply back up and then ease forward again
and the game’s AI will continue steering you in the right direction for the
route you are presently on.

Hope all of this is helpful.

Cheers!

Cara
