there always has to be one, who just has to come out with all this "lazy",
"independence", and "don't bother" trash, and as good as criminalise those who
would just like things to be a bit easier occasionally, as life is often hard
enough already.

give links?

Yes it is nice when someone is thoughtful enough to provide a link. However,
a lot of people don't have time to compile a comprehensive resource list of
links. Also, some of them, like me, haven't put links into email enough to be
comfortable doing it so I might say something like, "Yes I know this is a PC
game that it is available. Put the title of the game into your search engine
of choice. Personally I don't like google so I use another search engine
(actually a couple) more often than google for a lot of reasons. Some of us
are working and/or on a lot of lists and we don't have time to do all yoru
research for you. Some of you, Mitch for instance, I know you're not employed
so you're home and would have more time to do research on uyour own. When we
give ideas of what to type in in order to help someone research we are
encouraging that person to become more independent rather than expecting others
to simply hand them information and spoon feed it to them. Sure, if you're
friends with someone and want to provide a link, no problem. But if someone
gives you some information, like the mame of a game or the fact that they found
it on google, then you're perfectly able to learn to look it up yourself
especially if you have time. Expecting someone to do it for you when you have
time to do it yourself is lazy and unfair to other people and certainly not
showing independenc eor initiative. It is showing entitlement, expecting
people to do all the work for you. It's one thing if someone is new to tech or
newly blind or is extremely busy or whatever but the point is a lot of blind
people just don't bother to learn to research for themselves and there's no
reason why they can't. The purpose of the lists is yes to share information
but it's not just to expect people to always hand you all the info without
trying to get it yourself as well.

I also 100% agree, as am so sick of always hearing, "google this", "google
that", and "google the other" all the time.

Yes that is why I made this post in hopes that people would pervade links
to these things instead of like you said just telling them to ook them up on
google. So I agree with that. from Mich.

My personal opinion is that if someone asks, specifically, for links, and
you know them, you should provide them, rather than merely suggest that the
person look them up on Google. That would be far more helpful, which is the
purpose of the list. After all, there are times when it is still difficult to
quickly and easily find something through a Google search.

Have you tried searching on Google for something like "forza motor sport

pc game"? That's what I always do and it usually finds what I'm looking

for unless the game isn't on the PC.
