Hi, if memory serves, you’d only lose a char/game would remove it if you were inactive for 6 months, and the char level is 0, so for example, if you reset an existing char and just left it, it would eventually be removed.

So when it said "invalid name" I thought perhaps the name had been released because of that extended idle period. But based on the fact that the game itself recognized the name as "in use" and the fact that I was able to successfully log into the web portal, I tend to agree with others on this list that something is off with the client I use. So I tried logging into their secure login portal on their site. This worked splendidly and my account info looked just fine. So I went back to my client and tried to re-create Coralthewolf. I got the message "name is already in use" which of course, it is. So the game itself clearly recognizes the character. But after closing the app completely for several hours I got the same "invalid name" message, even though I know I'm typing it correctly. The only thing I can see that might be strange is that at the very bottom of the screen, within the client, are quite a few lines of code: numbers, letters, quotes, question minks, and the plus sign, in several configurations. I have no idea what, if anything, it means. The only understandable lines say Alter Aeon v2.25 or something like that. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas what's going on? Should I try to create a new character and if that one logs in successfully, try to log it out and log Coral io? Thanks for any responses.
