Ahem... that of course is your right to wait until the product is
certainly available.
No one can argue that Raceway has had a long wait for the final product.
However, James North is now back in business and we can take in account
ESP was closed for a while, the title went to Adora, back to James
again, and James has clearly been working on two other titles since
Alchemy came in to existance. Not to mention a game engine which I asume
the games are being based on.
Together with his family issues and all the products together I don't
see that James has had time to devote allot of time to any single product.
This is one of those cases where I see both sides of the issue. I agree
that James should attempt to get raceway done asap to satisfy hte
customers that have waited so long for it. However, I also know how
necessary it is for a developer to work on other products, work out
other ideas, and manage some sort of family life. After all, game
programming is more of a side job for us then a 24/7 enterprise.
