Yes, that ture. For James a one man company, when that man gets problems
the whole company is effected. When geting pre orders from Amazon or from a
another large distributor, there are many to fill in the slack. For James
the one man company hasa regular job. To feed his famil not only his face.
There is only such much time in the day to do work on personnal projects.
When I first pre order RaceWay in the early part of the century, I did not
know a lot about accessible game development. Yes, in this area we do take
risks in pre ordering and for me I wanted race way so much I have even re
pre orderd, to support James not his game but his ideas for games as well.
So, I am going by blind faith in pre ordering and for Raceway in the
accessible game market is the only game I have make pre orders for. If I am
able to cut a deal with James and get a copy of MOnty while I wait for my my
game of Race way then it will help me to wait for it knowing that James has
a firm commitment to finishing what he started.

I am a strong believer in games that come out with upgades to the game not
just bug fixes, but new levels add ons and other options. New items to like
for jJaws I will consider in getting the latest version, if I think they
will help. For developer of games will put out a game that can be expaned
apon in newer version will get games faster out on the market. That is why
I like about this concept. If you get version 1 then don't like the new
items in version two you won't buy the upgrade, but if version 3 has some
thing is cool and want to get that add on, you would buy that versions
upgrade. The question of a game not being replayable is created in version
one for sure. Buying other versions may even make the game more replayable
as well.

What this may have to do with pre order? Well, if the developer is
designing a game for replayabilities, then the longer it will take to
develop and pre ordering will help in the cost of that development. For
James it looks like the case here with out any upgrades later on his games.
For developers who follow this pattern will always delay the game coming
out, with new ideas, to give the player the most for his buck. For the
blind community in a whole is a good practice and does slow down the games
coming out. As a old programmer myself I can understand the trails and
errors of putting out a application for others who want this or that to be
added to the software. So, instead a workable program they want a complete
package In the case of a one man company who is telling themselves what
improvements can be put in the product is can be hard to tell your self to
stop and let it be and its good enough for now.

Running a company by yourself and a one man show let you mold that company
the way you and, but there is no one to help pick up the slack For those
who who are those one man companies my hats off to you. Learning the in and
outs, taking your lumps, and making mistakes on the way, and able to blame
it on oters, cause, being the company. Taking all the blame, you also get
all the fame. So its a take and go.

Other new games are in the wings, and I will support them when they do come
out, but for now my Blind faith is in James and your right pre order is
exactly that blind faith. So, I am going to see if my previous support of
will be award when I pre ordered my copies of raceway with what James has
been woring on. I still want my Raceway, but if I get a copy of Monty for a
trade for my pre order of race way to passify me then I will be satifyed.
