Hi Phil, No worries, even I was confused sometime ago about the RIGHT installer for Shockwave :)
Damn, that Curb Game error should be gone by now... this has nothing to do with you or your computer, Phil. This is a fault on our side which we thought we had eliminated two years ago...mmm, will work on it this sunday hopefully. This error relates only to The Curb Game and has got nothing to do with Sudo-San. Basically it seems you have everything up and running to play Sudo-San, the only problem is the focus. When the html-site loads we set the focus on the game. Whenever you visit another webpage, program, whatever during or after loading, the focus is removed. In some browsers you can simply [tab] to put the focus back on the game (by pressing the tab-key) but this is not supported in all browsers/browser versions. By turning off your screenreader you also run the risk of losing the focus. I can't really give any guidelines or criteria for what's the best way of unloading your screenreader while keeping the focus. However, what you can try is this: - click the link to play Sudo'-San (a new page with the game will now start loading) - unload your screenreader and simply wait untill the game loades - when you hear the game it means it is loaded properly. After the Gong-sound you can start pressing buttons. I suggest pressing the cursor keys :) - if you hear sounds of interaction, the focus is on the game and you can play. - if you DON'T hear sounds of interaction, the focus is not on the game (either because of the unloading of the screenreader, an older browser or something else). In this case, press F4 to reload the page. The page should reload now (and if your cache is large enough, the game will be started from the copy in the cache instead of reloading from the website again) and the focus should be set to the game again. Since you touch any other programs this should do the trick.... If it doesn't I suggest trying a different browser just to test... Sander and I each have exactly the same computer, internet connection and browsers installed (same versions too) and somehow I do not have an automatic focus on the game in Firefox and Sander does... Please tell me if it works...
