Regarding any situation, think of how to spell assume. Now, if you assume, you only make those first 3 letters out of you, not me. Keep this in mind when considering how a game developer thinks or acts, whether a game will or will not be produced, and so on. When I hear from James North about my refunds, or when a game comes out, then I will have proof, one way or the other. Until that time, I will not knock him down based on an assumption, and I will treat other developers in exactly the same manner. I have preordered Raceway, Max, and Monty. I will wait until I see results in a concrete form, good or bad, before jumping to any conclusion, and I will hope that others take the same attitude instead of immediately flaming or bashing him.
