There was also a similar but simpler game that shipped with MS dos 5.0 and
QBasic. It was called Gorilla. You and your opponent were gorillas standing
on the top of a building. There were several buildings on each side of the
screen and they were of different heights each new series. So some times you
would be standing on the top of the tallest building and another time on a
short one down in between taller buildings. So now you had to type in the
power and angle to throw your exploding banana at. So some times you could
throw your banana almost straight at your opponent or maybe even upwards at him
and other times you would have to try to drop it down on him in between
buildings. And like in Scorched Earth you could blow yourself up if you threw
it wrong.
