Hi Joseph, You don't have to worry about the mouse ejecting you from the game. DirectX has a cooperative level setting called foreground exclusive.What that means is when the game is the current or active window the game has total control of the mouse. It won't allow the mouse to activate items on the screen or let it leave the Window.
