Yeah, why not. The first idea of sponsorship was in a nitendo game. Where you would race for say ten laps then if you do good you would continue to the next race. As long you did well the sponsorship was happy. If they weren't then the game gives you a screen shot telling you that you lost your sponsorship and then buttons to play again or exit. For Raceway tis wold be good as long there be more laps that one could choose from. A way to save the game in the middle of a season. If one chooses to set the laps for races to the minimum it will allow the gamer to quickly play out a season whereas If set to the max a gamer could do a race on the weekend where they could practice on a certain track before the bace through the week. He would call up the save season when the player is ready to do the race with enough practice. Races set at the max would means the race would last as loing at a real race in Nascar at that track. The best place to put a save option during a long race it where you pit. A pause is needed to get the door or phone when on the track So the program will need to remember the cars postions and conditions of the cars and track during a pause and a save. Another good idea is when pitting is to maybe have the game auto save itself. The hardest things is to pit so if the player is able to say get on pit row maybe a auto save would be nice. If the player ends up crashing in the pit there could be an auto save file to pick up when the player want to continue the race. The gamer would be in the pit but since crashing the player could have a penalty where they wjold lose time and had to wait for it was over to get back to the race. This auto option could be an opotion that can be turned on or off. ONce the player is better at pitting they could then turn this off.
