Hi,

I often get mice in the house in about October, when the weather cools down
outside. A couple of years ago the mice seemed to be 'trap shy', as they
wouldn't go for the old-fashioned wooden Victor traps. An exterminator gave
me some sticky pads, saying that the mice would die quickly once stuck to
the pads. The first time a mouse got stuck to one of the pads I found out
that the exterminator's version of 'die quickly' meant that the poor mouse
would be stuck there, still alive, for several hours, so I threw the rest of
the pads away. I didn't want to use poison because one of the dogs used to
chase mice, and I was afraid it would catch the poisoned ones.

Finally, I searched the internet for a way to kill mice quickly and easily,
and it didn't take long to find Rat Zapper. I ordered a couple of them,
installed AA alkaline batteries, baited them with the included pet food, and
electrocuted all of the mice within a couple of days. A quick web search
shows that Rat Zappers now cost about $29 each, and come with a money-back
guarantee.

                                Mark
