Hi Ray, Thanks for the research, it's much appreciated.
I have tried the traditional troubleshooting ideas, starting with the power first, followed by the A B C's of medicine. They are, airway, breathing and circulation. This is what medical professionals are taught to look for in an emergency, so I looked to see if any of the vents were blocked or the fans were obstructed, this was, of course, after I established that there was powered going to the unit. After that, I looked to see if there was circulation in the unit, in other words, whether the power was flowing to the different parts of the laptop, but I come to the exact same problem. How to determine if the power is flowing through all the circuitry in the motherboard. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear, I'm just too depressed over the life of my laptop. It was very dear to me.
