Since it's come down to a vote I say lets keep things the way they are now. 
How did the first blind man to drive a nail figure out how to do it.  He 
first learned how a sighted person did it because that was the only 
information available.  Then he adapted the sighted method and worked out 
how he could do it without seeing the hammer and nail.  Let's stick with it. 
I use my delete key a lot and I won't say on what.  It's no big deal. 
Listen to jaws read a sentence or so, reach for the delete key, and click, 
it's gone.
