rob, Better is not appropriate here, the click rule resolves to a sixteenth of an inch and is faster to set, while the rotomatic is good to a sixty fourth and is slower to spin a long way.
I have and love them both, but that's from a day, long ago, when they weren't so expensive. for most work, unless you're doing high quality cabinetry or metla work, I'd bet the click rule is more than adequate.
