There is a clock supply that has all sorts of clock movements. They have one
that is designed to run backwards. I don't think it has a pendulum, but they
sell a seperate pendulum device that could be used in conjuction with the
movement. Here is their information.

  Hi All,
I have an idea for a unique clock that I would like to make. It will require
having a clock run counter clockwise. I know that if you put a battery in
backwards a dc motor will run in reverse. I am not sure if the clock movement
would work this way with all of it gears and whatever is inside. In theory it
should work any ideas where I can find out before I purchase the parts?
As for the project my brother is a Yuengling beer collector. For his rec-room
I am thinking about making a pendulum clock that runs backwards and for the
pendulum I plan to take a photo of a Yuengling bottle and have it pasted on a
thin piece of plastic to replace the clock pendulum.
A few years ago I made him a lamp out of a quart Yuengling bottle. The
hardest part was drilling a hole near the bottom for the wiring.
