if you have 3 steps each about 3 inches hi you are goeing to need a ramp 9 ft long is'nt that a bit long? ----- Original Message ----- From: Betsy Whitney, Dolphin Press To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, March 07, 2007 11:08 PM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] Portable ramps for wheelchair access
Aloha Mick, I hear you, but I really feel strongly about having it 1 inch per foot. Some people are better at controling their chairs than others, and I think that in these times when so many people are aging, it will add value to my home, not that I have any plans to sell now. Also, I think that if one is using a manual chair, the gradual slope is really important. Just my 2 cents worth.
