Wow, very interesting. Btw, there was a note on a list for the
mechanical types. I'd love to have that info to subscribe. I own a
Jeep Grand Cherokee and I had to drop $376 in repairs yesterday which
doesn't seem like much, but the crank seal was one thing, the
thermostat and seal was quite another. Hey it was leaking and they
already had it so I felt it was best to get it done since she was
loosing liquids and not a good thing. Of course they said after 70,000
miles, it was probably about time to replace the thermostat in any
event. I'd really like to figure out what I can do myself cause I know
she ain't getting any younger and I really do not want a car payment
at this point. Things like changing the plugs, coil packs, and so
forth. If I could service the transmition myself I would, but this is
getting out of my skill level and I don't have the equipment to do it.
So, maybe I could learn some things and fix as much as possible
myself. Especially the plugs, they are the 30,000 plugs and its really
getting close to that time. Might improve fuel use and I've got some
other questions.

tnx
