Dale, you are right about checking for slots. When I bought the saw, I never gave it a thought. In my Reading, I have found that Sears, Skill, Delta and Makita have these slots on some models. I have written to Grizzly, Rockler and one other outfit to check for nonstandard gauges. Thanks for checking for me.
