Thinking more about that project I think that the only thing that will work
is something on the dog like a bell or child finder or key finder. Unless
the dog is sitting in one place trying to locate with a radio beacon locater
would be nearly impossible. To you got a fix on the pooch he would probably
move to another location. I still like the bell because you do not have the
risk of the dog getting out of range. Even the lock remote for my van only
has about a 30 foot range. I have a wireless doorbell that has a 100 foot
range.
