I considered buying a talking compus back when I was having such trouble
navigating in this town.
Then I found the maestro trekker, which does so much more such as telling you
what street you are on, cross streets you are approaching and landmarks around
you and you can set your own land marks and it will remember and alert you as
you approach the area.
It also does compus directions.
Also, with the maestro add ons I am able to keep all sorts of info in it.
Address book, wireless emailing, text files in different folders.
I have a folder called maintenance where I keep all sorts of notes.
There's a file detailing the wiring set up of my cart batteries, last check of
the batteries, what the switches on my home thermostat are, when turned this
way or that, just everything having to do with the household management stuff
like that.
It's nice to have a talking pocket computer when you are on the spot doing
something or sitting out in public and need to call around to some other person
or business.
I'm not plugging here, as I make no money off these things.
I just use it and realize it's value to me personally.
Matt
