I have a fairly old frame something like that too, not nearly as large though. 
The saw is held between two molded plates which can be adjusted for tightness, 
the top has a space to accept the back of a stiffened saw. I think it cost me 
under 20 bucks but that was 35 years ago. While it works well I much prefer by 
20 year old Makita power sliding compound miter saw. but with care both make 
very good cuts.
