The problem with our dishwasher is that the points on the thynes that hold the dishes in place are rusting away. We either need to figure out a way to cap them or get a new rack or a new dishwasher. I'm hoping there's a practical way to fix them.

Or sugarless lemon aide Kool-aide. She does this about three times a year and tells me it cleans up the inside of the dishwasher like new. She put some in the soap dispenser and pours a package or two on the bottom of the dishwasher and runs it through a wash cycle empty.
