Hey I also have a Hot Point microwave that worked for a real long time and when I plug it up, it will do nothing. I haven't plugged it up for a while, because I am thinking that may this could just be a fuse. I wish I could get it fixed because I have Braille on it which provided by the company. Barbara

Then its not the fuse, and would say its the part that does all the work, can't think of the name right now, but it would probably cost you more to replace it then buy new.
