From what I've been told, it's best to leave the fan on during the Summer while the ac is operating, but in the Winter it's best to turn the fan off and allow it to only cycle when the heat is running. I can't say for sure what is best other than that the humidifier runs if the fan is operating. So, I've always wondered if there is any truth to any of this and how could one really determine what makes sense? I wonder sometimes if it depends upon how the structure is laid out etc. I guess you could argue this all day long. :)
