Lenny, If you're just looking for something to let you know when 4 hours is up, we have a kitchen timer that goes all the way up to 23 hours and 59 minutes. If you set it for 4 hours, when it goes off, press the button to stop the beeping, then press again to re-start the timer. That way you don't have to keep resetting the timer.
Ours is from Williams-Sonoma about 10 years ago and it goes about $20, but have since found the same type at cheaper places, such as Bed, Bath & Beyond.
