Still might be a good gadget to have around, especially in the kitchen as you can set it to go off when food reaches a certain temperature (it has a probe that comes with the timer) as well as being a really good timer.

If you set it for 4 hours, when it goes off, press the button to stop the beeping, then press again to re-start the timer. That way you don't have to keep resetting the timer.
