I just did a serpentine belt on a 07 Caravan this weekend for my banana bread connection and that damn thing was a royal pain. I worked on that stupid stocker for 2.5 hours and had to build a special tool to release the belt tensioner. It's a good thing this 78 year old specializes in banana nut bread because she could have never afforded me otherwise.

Usually there is a sign of some sort to tell if the pump is getting ready to die. A special noise they make, or some dripping. Not likely the dealership pumped it up to 30 pounds and blew the seal around the pump shaft.
