I too will save this message about installing a bigger valve. /drain valve. we have our mind set on a new 40 gallon Natural Gas tank at Lowes . as of now it is $389. it is a short squat tank as they have another taller 40 gallon tank for almost one hundred more. we currently have a 22 year old 50 gallon tank which has been repaired a few times over the years the problem is that one sets on the basement floor and a bit hard even with a hose to drain anything off. so we will go with a shorter tank and get it up on cinder blocks . that is a early project for 09. now here is an interesting deal some of you might consider. I have someone to install the tank and we are bartering for his labor which will be some baking and sewing as well as covering some phone calls . so zero dollars out of pocket for us. Lee
