Phil, first I don't have a talking hygrometer, but I do have a talking
wife. grin She is a bit more entertaining than a talking hygrometer,
but at times she says things that any respectable hygrometer wouldn't
say.
The humidifier I purchased can be operated by a blind person provided
you put some labels on the controls. The controls are flat and like
some microwave ovens. However, all controls beep and should the unit
loose power, it will remember the last settings and restart itself.
Hope that helps.
