Dale, thanks for the feedback and yes I agree the air moving in the  
basement etc. do to the fan does make sense. I've already noticed it  
is cycling differently in that it comes on a while and then shuts off  
maybe a little longer. It probably has pulled nearly 21 pints out of  
here give or take in the last 24 hours. As far as size, yeah, I could  
probably have gotten away with a 35 pint unit, but my choices were a  
bit limited and price verses features, size, and warranty made the LG  
unit more attractive. The five year warranty knowing what is in these  
things made more sense than the one year warranty the Sears brand  
offered. I have also noticed that the air outside today is about 26%  
humid and so I opened the door down here and it has made a difference  
in the air as well. I suspect it will begin to cycle less and yeah,  
opening the door may not be a great idea, but fresh air does make a  
difference as well. It is a perfect day here, about 72 degrees F and  
breezy. I'm trying to enjoy this before I head to Miami this Tuesday  
for a conference, where it has been in the upper 80s.
