May I ask  if you ar einsisting on installing plexi glass   on new 
carpet  under a  heavy office chair or could it be  real glass?  I 
have here  a large piece of glass which my family bought for me in my 
last office.  solid  thicker glass with rounded edges for  less than 
$150. Under the chair I sit on here now is a roll up  vynl  section 
which works well. it has like little cleets   so it does not slide on 
the carpet. wow $700 that is extremely high in price. Lee
