Geno: This sounds very similar to my situation. Can you tell me what kind of foam you used and perhaps what the name (if there is one) of the tin strips is?
Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Geno Sent: Monday, January 11, 2010 16:55 To: [email protected] Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Blocking the wind. I have a sun-room over top of a wooden deck. I got tired of the cold wind going underneath the deck. Yet also concerned of moisture build up. So did first just foam lining of the areas (that is the sheets with a silver liner over the foam.) After removing 2 years ago - been there for two years, Found out nice and dry. The only thing found was Gardener snacks made a home underneath the deck and the black-top.. Anyway Replaced with foam and then bought light weight tin panel strips to fit the area and to go into the ground and fasten into place on either end. Works like a charm! This spring will dig out the back side of the Raised bed, remove the tarp and install foam and the tin sheets in the tarp place. All I can say is what a difference and I get lots of solar heat from the sun room now! Geno [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
