Just got back in from three hours of shoveling. Thankfully the neighbour across the road came along with a big diesel pick-up with a bucket on the front and hauled away a couple of buckets full of snow I had piled up in preparation for taking it to the end of the drive and loading up on the bank. The top fifty feet has the house and a hedge which is behind a retaining wall all of which is too high to throw the snow over so I have to push it all down beyond that point before I can throw it up onto the bank. Another half an inch of snow fell in the last half hour I was out there. They expect I'll be moving another four inches or more by the time I get home from work tomorrow.
Actually I look pretty darn good in a dressing gown. Not much protection from what I wear under it though but it isn't all that cold out today and no wind.
