I suggest you get a key made at your dealer's. If you don't have two keys to work the computer the key will cost about $75 compared to $25 to $35. I don't think it's all that easy as walking in to any hardware store and having a key made. I believe there is a chip in the key that will allow the motor to start and won't start without this chip.
